Desert & Science Quest

Join us as we travel south to explore the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum and Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium. Begin your day learning about the unique plants and animals of the Sonoran Desert and how they have adapted to survive the weather extremities. You can choose to add a stingray touch experience to your trip and learn how these marine animals relate to the Sonoran Desert.

Our second stop takes us to the University of Arizona campus where we will tour the Flandrau Science Center and Planetarium. Partake in a space and solar system presentation before visiting the hands-on exhibits including mineral resource discovery, marine discovery, earth science discovery and more! Time permitting, we will organize a scavenger hunt for your students to explore the University of Arizona’s beautiful college campus. We will make a quick dinner stop for pizza before safely making our way back to the school.
