*Part-time Contract Position

As a Field Trip Instructor, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Complete pre-trip activities, including: contact schools, coordinate with bus drivers and other instructors (when multiple buses) to ensure quality and consistency of activities
• Meet at school and work with teachers to safely load students and chaperones on the bus(es). Give overview of safety procedures and keep safety a priority during the trip
• Keep a headcount- adults and students- before and after each stop
• Teach various educational curriculum and fun activities while traveling in the bus
• Manage reservations and check-in process for various vendors. Effectively navigate hotel and overnight procedures for applicable trips
• Be prepared to walk a lot and work long days, keeping a fun and engaging atmosphere
• Overnight travel is required for many trips

Education & Experience

• High School diploma / GED
• You have Minimum 1 year in a customer service position
• Experience in and enjoy working with youth
• Experience in a leadership or problem solving role
• *Must be able to complete and pass a background check and obtain a fingerprint clearance level 1 card*

Skills & Abilities

• You are a pro at written and verbal communication 
• Work to provide superior customer service and enjoy being a team player
• Feel comfortable learning and teaching educational material to groups of 40 or more
• Lifting up to 30lbs and working while sitting, standing, and walking doesn’t phase you
• Being fun, energetic, and safety minded are priorities
• The ability to think on your feet and problem solve is your thing
