Join us as we travel south to explore the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum and either Kartchner Caverns or Colossal Cave. Begin your day learning about the unique plants and animals of the Sonoran Desert and how they have adapted to survive the weather extremities. You can choose to add a stingray touch experience to your trip and learn how these marine animals relate to the Sonoran Desert.

Split into groups of 20 at Kartchner Caverns or Colossal Cave, students and chaperones will rotate between a variety of activities. Activities include touring the limestone caves, walking the nature trail, and learning the cave’s history in the discovery center. We end our day with a dinner stop at R&R Pizza before we head safely back to the school.

*Kartchner Caverns allows a max of 100 participants per day.

*Arizona Sonora Desert Museum limits chaperones to 1 per 7 students.
