Northern Arizona Quest
*Average trip length: 17-18 hours
Explore northern Arizona with your students on this day long adventure. Our first stop takes you to a limestone sinkhole known as Montezuma Well. Your Project Exploration instructor will guide you down to the irrigation system used by the Sinagua who once inhabited the area. Next, we head to Lowell Observatory where your students will partake in the Cosmic Cart program.
This program is a live science presentation demonstrating the different elements of the planets in our solar system. While at Lowell Observatory, students will also tour the telescope that was used to discover the dwarf planet Pluto.
