Colorado River Quest

Average trip length: 16-24 hours

Join us for an unparalleled experience as we float down the Colorado River. During this 1.5 – 3 hour float, students will learn about hydroelectric power, geology, the importance of the Colorado River and how many people rely on that crucial water supply, and the native cultures that lived along the river. Choose between the Colorado River Quest 1 (Glen Canyon Dam) and Colorado River Quest 2 (Hoover Dam).

Colorado River Quest 1

Starting in Page, we will float the upper basin of the Colorado River as it flows towards the Grand Canyon. We will float through Horseshoe Bend and stop at Petroglyph Beach before ending at Lee’s Ferry.

Colorado River Quest 2

Starting at the base of the Hoover Dam, we will float the lower basin of the Colorado River, downstream of the Grand Canyon. See the famous Hoover Dam from the base and float the river separating Arizona from Nevada. Chuckwallas and Big Horn Sheep are frequent visitors along the river canyons as we make our way to Willow Beach. A Hoover Dam Tour can also be added to this trip! Option to also add in a stop in Lake Havasu City to walk the original London Bridge for 24 hour trips!
